I first met Khim in Tavern House. When Gnaeri brought the German Guy home the first time. Luckily there was a German Shepard so I was not on my own. Soon after when moving to the new home Khim always wanted to do something special for me for dinner and my request was always the first thing she needed to know. I will never forget her prayers for my father when he was in hospital. It did mean a lot to me. She shared many stories and her passion for growing things in the garden and knowledge of botanics was I suppose only trumped by her belief in god and community. I believe Khim can be proud of what she achieved creating a lovely family, raising two children across two continents holding up a career and still finding energy to help other people and grow vegetables. I guess the gardener in heaven can now take some vacation or extend the heavenly gardens.
