My memories are of my schooldays. As a child I spent a lot of time at the family home and very often sleeping over. Khim was an accomplished, admirable woman,a doctor but to me she was my best friend's mum and she made me feel like part of the family and I still do. She was always busy, there was always something to be done with a large houshold, children and animals to deal with. We would help her in the kitchen and around the house as kids do. I have lots of memories around the family dinner table. In the beginning I still hadn't got to grips with the chopsticks. I remember her nattering with my mum when she came to collect me often swapping cooking tips. I still saw Khim and Bret over the years and my parents knew them also, my father was a doctor in Wales at the same time, but I always think of Khim and Bret as I did then. My parents were deeply saddened to hear the news. Our thoughts are with her family and my good friend Gnaeri at this time. My deepest sympathies Prasadie
